Initial Ideas

The first task for the group was to decide on what areas of Essex we will be focusing on..

After careful discussion, I have decided to base my animations on Paintballing in Essex, and Festival leisure Park Basildon. The target audience is the younger age groups (16-24), therefore these particular activities/Places are suitable, but can however be enjoyed by all age groups.

Festival Leisure Park - Located just outside Basildon town centre, the festival leisure has become a booming location for family and party-goers to enjoy an evening out. With an Empire cinema, Hollywood Bowl, nightclubs and bars as well as restaurants offering food from around the world - theres something for everyone!

Mayhem Paintballing - Established in 1987, this paintballing venue is well-known for its celebrity customers and popularity. With over 12 arenas, tailored packages and a laser tag version for the kids, your sure to enjoy an adrenaline-fuelled day!

Brief

For this task, we will be working in a small team to create an animation which promotes several areas of the Essex county - whilst working alongside a client.

Our client is Ms. Elli Constantatou (Tourism, Marketing and PR Manager of Essex County Council), who is responsible for pormoting interesting and exciting events within the county and currently runs a campaign to promote Essex, with an onus on 'My Essex'.

The idea is to create a positive endorsment of Essex in order to challenge common perceptions. The team will act as ambassadors for the county and produce an animation in 3ds max promoting some key areas of Essex.
